Lisboa
Hello, Emi here. I hope you are all well.
Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel coloured buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.
Finally here. I didn't even have a passport check at the airport. We only needed to fill in a passenger locator form on the Plane. Which the crew collected before landing.
I guess that's when I am aligned with the universe. A guy gave me a Metro ticket for the day. He was leaving the country. Welcome and Merry Christmas!
Someone recommended the Hostel in Malta. Nice one. Friendly bunch of people. Wednesday is a busy Karaoke night. I had a Sangria and enjoyed some songs.
Today I will look around. Looks like a sunny day. 15 degrees.
