The Entry
At the 11th of May between 11 and 12 I arrived to Santiago de Compostela. There was no ovation how I imagined. But I ran into a protest.
First I walked to the Cathedral. I just had to wait a little bit for the mass at 12.00.
"2021 is going to be a very special year on the Camino de Santiago, as it is considered a Holy Year or Ano Xacobeo. This means the Feast of St James, 25th July, falls on a Sunday. This only happens every few years and the last Ano Xacobeo was 2010, 10 years ago. In fact, due to leap years, this holy year happens only 14 times in a century. But first, let’s learn a little about what is Xacobeo 2021 and what it means to pilgrims."

After church I walked a little bit around in the city and waited for my Camino friend Christin. We had a not so welcoming experience at lunch.
After some rest we met again and had a rainy walk but delicious dinner.
The next day was more challenging to get back to Porto. Not many train or busses were scheduled only two very early. I first had to take a bus to Vigo then I luckily had a bus to Porto in time.
As I always say, with some help from the universe everything will work out fine.
